About the attractions
This mountain is 993m high and is located 4km due north from Sachang-ri, Sanae-myeon. It got its name because it is said to look like Myeongweol is lying on her side and that is where the village got its name as well. Legends have it that wizards headed towards Geumgangsan made stops here to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hiking trail starts from the Myeongweol-ri Traffic Control Center in the direction of Sachang-ri to Damok-ri on an unpaved roard. A farm is visible from the right side of the bridge of the Control Center and hikers should take the path on the back side of the farm. After climbing about an hour on the steep path below the pine tree forests, hikers should reach the 720 summit, which has an uninterrupted view.

Related Information
- Following the small waterfall and the mountain streem for about 10 minutes, there will be a trail to left. There are several signs at the entrance so it will be easy to find. There are large forests on both sides the path. It has a relatively steep slope, but a path will appear again in 10 minutes. The trail is covered with great forests and the wind from the valley below is cool, making it a refreshing hike.
