HWACHEON Symbols Mark

The fresh waterdrop images that splatter out in the new symbol was extracted from water, which is the key resource of Hwacheon, and it is symbolic of better welfare through informationization and ideal administrative services. The bird image is combined with the image of the waterdrop to show the Korean initial ‘ㅎ’ of Hwacheo

HWACHEON Symbols Mark

The bird that soars to the skies is created by the former name of Paro Lake, which was Daebung Lake.
Daebung is a legendary bird that is symbolic of change and rise, which appears in an ancient Chinese book written by Jangja, and shows a small fish transforming into a large bird. The image colors are based on green, eco and culture. The green symbolizes environmentally healthy life, blue means peace and orange shows the leisure and tourism of Hwacheon. This shows Hwacheon’s goal to ultimately become a “ecological leisure and tourism garden city that where people and nature lives in harmony in the 21st century.”

Characters

The main characters “Sani and Jini.”

The main characters are “Sani and Jini.” Azaleas, which are the flowers of our county, were personified as cute fairy siblings. This is the personification of Beautiful Nature Hwacheon, and their roles are to assist in telling people of the value of peace and security as Hwacheon residents who are preserving the natural scenery of the county.

Sub Characters - Muli Sub Characters - Yeoni Sub Characters - Dali Sub Characters - Cheoni

Hwacheon’s beaver, lotus flower, trout and clean water were reborn as sub characters. Dali, who has the ability make the ecology healthy is the keeper of Hwacheon’s nature and also the spokesperson for environmental Hwacheon. ? Yeoni, represents the creation of life and earth,
as well as luck, prosperity and longevity, and she has the ability to purify nature and assits people and nature. ? Muli is the symbol of Hwacheon, the home to indigo clear water ? and Cheoni is a kind and cute fairy that helps Hwacheon become the best in leisure, festivals and tourism.

Agricultural Brand Mark

Agricultural Brand Mark - Mulbitnuri

The agricultural brand of Hwacheon is Mulbitnuri. Mulbitnuri is a combination of the Korean word mulbit, which means the color of the beautiful water of Hwacheon, and nuri, which means the world. Nuri also stands for living a happy life and sharing, which is symbolic of the fact that the happiness offered by the agricultural goods of Hwacheon is shared with all consumers. Mulbitnuri will impress customers.

Agricultural Brand Mark - Sannara Mulnara

Sub brands are “Sannara Mulnara” and “Yeounaru.”
Sannara Mulnara is based on the motif of Hwacheon’s plentiful and deep mountains and lakes. Its name in Korea means world of mountains, world of water. The green and blue that represents the clean natural environment and water resources of Hwacheon will make customers happy.

Agricultural Brand Mark - Yasimae

Yeounaru is based on the motif of ‘Yasimae’, which is the old name of Hwacheon. Yeou (fox) are animals that live only in deep and clear mountain valleys where there is an ecological system. It is the ferries where foxes come out of the mountains to drink water at ? The agricultural goods of this little county will steal the hearts of customers.
